AI-Enhanced Chatbot for Streamlined Clinical Trials Analysis and Document Management

Abstract

Statistical programming teams lose hours searching specifications, protocols, and analysis documentation. This paper describes a retrieval-augmented chatbot that indexes clinical trial documents and analysis artifacts and answers natural-language questions against the retrieved content, with a local-deployment option that keeps confidential documents and data in-house. A fine-tuned LLM also maps mock table shells to SAS macro calls for end-to-end TLF generation, with a SAS kernel executing the generated code.
